McGee's Crossroads Athletic Association

The McGee’s Crossroads Athletic Association is gauging interest in Select Baseball for 8U, 10U, 12U, and 14U to see what age groups we have enough interest from players and coaches.  Select Baseball is a higher level of play that is separate from the rec season.  We will have our tryouts in early February. Also, practices will start in mid February and the game season starts in mid March.  We typically have two practices per week, games are generally on Sunday afternoons, and travel is in the immediate area.  We have to notify the league by Monday, so anyone interested in playing needs to email Brian Massengill at brian@gomcaa.com by SUNDAY JAN 15th with a confirmation of your child’s name and the age division they would participate.  A tryout will be held for each age group with enough interest.

8U –  ages 7 and 8.  A player may be no more than 8 as of May 1st 
10U – ages 9 and 10.  A player may be no more than 10 as of May 1st 
12U – ages 11 and 12.  A player may be no more than 12 as of May 1st 
14U – ages 13 and 14.  A player may be no more than 14 as of May 1st

The McGee’s Crossroads Athletic Association is a proud member of The Triangle Select League. The TSL was created to enhance local recreation leagues. The TSL program accommodates teams and players that are prepared for a more competitive level of play. The league consists of preformed teams which participate in weekly games as well as various tournaments. These programs are for the serious ball player with the skills and commitment to playing the game at a higher level.

Each player MUST participate within their local Spring recreation league. The MCAA offers an opportunity for area youth to compete in the TSL for the 8U (Coach Pitch), 10U and 12U age groups. We will have up to one (1) team per group based on interest. We typically have the draft scheduled in the first week of February, and games typically start mid-March.
