The McGee’s Crossroads Athletic Association is a non-profit organization created to develop, support and promote recreational activities in the McGee’s Crossroads area.
The primary focus of the organization will be teaching the fundamentals of each sport and sportsmanship to the players.
This focus is intended to bolster the abilities and understanding of the participants, to aid in physical conditioning, and to increase community spirit.
Our Court
- The primary practice and playing is at McGee's Crossroads Middle School: 13353 NC Highway 210, Benson, NC
- Smoking and pets are not permitted on the properties
- Cursing and any other unruly behavior will never be tolerated
- We are not allowed to bring any type of food or beverages into the Gym
- Chairs, folding benches, and any type of device that could possibly scuff the court is prohibited
Game and Practice Schedules
- At the beginning of the season there will be 2 practices per week
- When we start to play we will have one practice and one game per week
- Games and practices will only be on week day evenings unless a special circumstance arises
Equipment and Uniforms
- Each player will receive a game shirt and shorts from the League
- Each player is responsible for having shoes, socks, and a 27.5” basketball
- At practice they should wear shorts and a shirt other than their game ones. Try to match the team colors though, this helps when there are scrimmages against other teams
Pictures and Trophies
- Pictures will be scheduled prior to season end. All players are expected to participate in the team photo regardless of whether or not they are buying pictures
- Every player will receive a trophy for participation. A ceremony will be scheduled prior to season end
