All-stars - A function of Spring ball, we provide an opportunity for regular season participants to represent McGee's or the SJBA baseball group in post season tournament play.
If the MCAA is not fielding a team in a division, our players will have the opportunity to try out for the SJBA team. If three or more players from one community show up to try out, one is guaranteed a spot. Currently, there is no minimum play rule.
SJBA and MCAA all-stars are selected via a formal try out process. All are welcome to try out but, typically, only 12 are chosen.
Important note:The SJBA requires a formal notification of your intent to try out be faxed by a deadline date. Typically the deadline is around the first week of June.
Select - Select ball is an elevated level of play that is separate from our regular season. It provides an opportunity for potential all-stars to gain extra experience at an all-star level during the regular season. We will provide more information (Try-outs,practice & game times...) on Select ball as it becomes available.
